< back to portfolio first year art school
The first year of art school I was very busy making paintings with spraypaint.
Even though I did expand my horizons at school, I kept painting these realistic portraits, both to make money and because I liked it.
I made some little videos on them and put them on youtube for you to watch ;)
Links to youtube videos of some of my murals:
Painting at Wijnhaven, Rotterdam
A mural I did behind Walls & Skins Rotterdam
A mural at a music venue I loved. I painted this as a gift, did this at two other social spaces I went to a lot.
Realistic portrait in my garden
Painting at Teufelsberg, Berlin
Some more (weird!) youtube videos:
A wolf mural, this was a small assignment
The logo of a student house in a student house, another small assignment
Small work for a gallery in Amsterdam
Painting with my friend in my house
Removing a mural in my house because of complaints
Practicing on my old shed
And some images of some works....
One of my first murals, at Schellingwouderbrug in Amsterdam.
Practicing portrait painting on an old piece of wood.
An assignment: a portrait of the king in a student house, somewhere in Rotterdam.
Practicing portrait painting on another old piece of wood.
Painting assignment in Delft: "the girl with the steampunk earring" inspired on Vermeer's "girl with the pearl earring".
A mural I did in Crooswijk, Rotterdam. The wall just got turned into a HOF (Hall Of Fame)!
